Don’t forget that there needs to be intention behind those activities.
Just doing things is not enough.
Figure out where you want to be and then you can start the process of planning on the steps to get there.
When I have patients come in that have been struggling with pain for years and have become “used to it”, they have typically tried many things to resolve the pain.
There can sometimes be resistance to new things and to change, even if it positive.
I go over goals for the treatment during the first acupuncture session so that I know that we are all working towards the same end goal.
After we have that goal in mind, we can give you the proper steps to begin working towards your goals.
If you start just trying to do things, then you may end up investing time and energy into things that don’t help you to get to your goals.
