Everything in moderationโฆ..right?Isnโt that what they say?
Well, this is definitely what I say!
Being on a restrictive diet 100% of the time, will not work for most people.
I am putting this out there because it is something that I truly believe.
When you tell people, donโt eat this and that and that and thatโฆ..it can start to become what they crave.
In this country, we donโt do โmoderationโ very well, in many aspects.
One of them
, being food-related!I am firm believer that if you moderate what you eat 80% of the time to non-processed, no sugar/low carb foods, and mostly whole foods then 10-20% of the time, you are able to eat the โfun” stuff as you need to.
Letโs be real. We are humans and we have many delicious foods to choose from. I get it- my husband is a freaking chef!!!
I am all about being realistic and cutting everything out of your diet- isnโt exactly realistic to me. But you also need to make sure you jump back on the wagon after your โfunโ stuff too! You canโt go too crazy.
I have a friend who does a โcheat dayโ meal but over-eats and goes crazy with it. -this isnโt what I mean!
Do your best to remain eating well but donโt be too hard on yourself for the other stuff either!
