Everything in moderationโ€ฆ..right?
Isnโ€™t that what they say?

Well, this is definitely what I say!

Being on a restrictive diet 100% of the time, will not work for most people.

I am putting this out there because it is something that I truly believe.

When you tell people, donโ€™t eat this and that and that and thatโ€ฆ..it can start to become what they crave.

In this country, we donโ€™t do โ€œmoderationโ€ very well, in many aspects.

One of them

, being food-related!I am firm believer that if you moderate what you eat 80% of the time to non-processed, no sugar/low carb foods, and mostly whole foods then 10-20% of the time, you are able to eat the โ€œfun” stuff as you need to.

Letโ€™s be real. We are humans and we have many delicious foods to choose from. I get it- my husband is a freaking chef!!!

I am all about being realistic and cutting everything out of your diet- isnโ€™t exactly realistic to me. But you also need to make sure you jump back on the wagon after your โ€œfunโ€ stuff too! You canโ€™t go too crazy.

I have a friend who does a โ€œcheat dayโ€ meal but over-eats and goes crazy with it. -this isnโ€™t what I mean!

Do your best to remain eating well but donโ€™t be too hard on yourself for the other stuff either!
