𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦?
Everything in moderation…..right?Isn’t that what they say?
Well, this is definitely what I say!
Being on a restrictive diet 100% of the time, will not work for most people.
I am putting this out there because it is something that I truly believe.
When you tell people, don’t eat this and that and that and that…..it can start to become what they crave.
In this country, we don’t do “moderation” very well, in many aspects.
One of them
, being food-related!I am firm believer that if you moderate what you eat 80% of the time to non-processed, no sugar/low carb foods, and mostly whole foods then 10-20% of the time, you are able to eat the “fun” stuff as you need to.
Let’s be real. We are humans and we have many delicious foods to choose from. I get it- my husband is a freaking chef!!!
I am all about being realistic and cutting everything out of your diet- isn’t exactly realistic to me. But you also need to make sure you jump back on the wagon after your “fun” stuff too! You can’t go too crazy.
I have a friend who does a “cheat day” meal but over-eats and goes crazy with it. -this isn’t what I mean!
Do your best to remain eating well but don’t be too hard on yourself for the other stuff either!
